Sermon date: October 25, 2026
Facing an old temptation can reveal how deeply we have changed. In Genesis 42, Joseph’s brothers encounter circumstances that bring their buried guilt to the surface and test their willingness to act differently. Joseph’s tears reveal his desire for reconciliation as he waits to see the fruit of repentance. From Abraham to Israel in the wilderness, God’s testing brings faith into action. His patient kindness invites us to acknowledge our failures, trust Christ’s faithfulness, and learn to obey even when the path is difficult.
