Sermon date: October 11, 2026
Waiting can feel like being forgotten, especially when doing what is right brings more suffering. In Genesis 40, Joseph serves others and speaks God’s truth while his own hopes for release remain unanswered. His years in prison raise hard questions about God’s timing and the work of refinement that happens beyond our sight. Through Joseph’s faithfulness and the greater suffering and redemption of Jesus, we are invited to consider what trust looks like when circumstances have not changed and how God shapes us in seasons we would never choose.
