Sermon date: October 4, 2026
Joseph rises to responsibility in a foreign household, blessed by God’s presence, only to face a moral test that threatens everything. His refusal to betray his master and his God, even at great personal cost, reveals a deeper loyalty that transcends reward or recognition. This story confronts us with the quiet integrity that chooses right not for personal gain but because God is always watching. In Joseph’s faithfulness amid temptation and unjust suffering, we glimpse a pattern shaped by God’s own purposes—a pattern fulfilled in Christ, who endured the ultimate cost of obedience. When we suffer for doing good, we are not alone, but joined to the living example of Jesus, whose faithfulness opens the way for ours.
